Entreroches Cuvée – oak barrel
Gamay d’Arcenant aged 18 months in oak barrels. Deep, intense color with a leather-red hue. Fine varietal typicity with concentrated aromas of red and black fruits—cherry, blueberry. Floral notes of violet and pepper. On the palate, it’s full and generous, with silky, complex tannins. This Gamay comes from the estate’s best barrels for this demanding single-varietal wine.
A tribute to an emblematic grape variety, for which Château d’Eclépens was among the pioneers in Vaud. This special cuvée is dedicated to the famous Rhône–Rhine canal that crosses the Commune of Eclépens, created to link by navigable waterway the waters of the South (Mediterranean) and the waters of the North (North Sea). It is a skilful blend of free-run and press wine from various Gamays, including Arcenant.
